USB SuperDrive upload issues on 2020 iMac

Sounds like the Super Drive is either dirty or malfunctioning. Try cleaning with a dry cleaning disc and then blow it out.

If that doesn't help, then replace it with an aftermarket desktop or portable DVD/CD drive.

What types of CDs are you trying to upload? Data? Commercial music? .mp3 Audio?
