No Bluetooth driver for iPhone hotspot on HP laptop

I have an HP laptop and I'm trying to use my iPhone's personal hot spot to connect to the internet, but it's saying the is no peripheral driver for the device. So, I tried to use another iPhone that belongs to someone else and I got the same message. The Help section on my computer said to go to the website of the devices manufacturer to get the driver information, which in this case is Apple, but I couldn't find anything. I am getting nowhere. What am I missing?

You don't connect through Bluetooth you connect via Wi-Fi. Turn on your phone's hotspot then look for the phone's SSID in your Wi-Fi connections on your laptop.

Please explain step by step how you are trying to connect, I have never seen Windows say it needs a Bluetooth driver when connecting to Wi-Fi.

Unlike Windows, Apple includes the drivers with the OS. When a mfg updates their drivers for Apple, the drivers are automatically updated with the OS.

How old is your printer? It’s possible HP has stop supporting the printer with new, updated drivers. Have you contacted the support team at HP? They will be your first resource on a path toward a resolution.

I know I’m not trying to connect via Bluetooth, but I go through all of the steps that the Troubleshooter gives me, it eventually leads me to a message that says:

“peripheral Driver for Bluetooth device did not download correctly”.

That’s the only solution I’m given.

It's not a printer issue. I'm trying to get my laptop to use my iPhone's hot spot for the internet. The laptop says there's no driver for the connection.
