My iPhone 14+ is currently up-to-date on iOS, however, at some point, my iPhone no longer automatically updates my apps. I can do it manually, but it always ask for an Apple password. Annoying to say the least.

In settings > general > software update > auto updates on > do you have all three circles toggled to on ?

All three circles are toggled on. So anytime I need an update. It does not happen automatic that I have to go into the apps click update and then it asked me for my Apple ID.
It’s becoming a real pain in the butt

Do you have a downloads folder , if so do you know where it is ?
Do you have iCloud sync turned on ?
Do you have other devices that are updating as usual ?
