When there was about 10 percent juice left I put it on charger. Five hours later it won’t wake up. Display went dark. Are Apple products reliable anymore? Anyone knows the fix?

Are you using the original USB charger and Apple power adapter?
Depending on the age and use of your watch, the battery might be at the end of its usable lifetime and needs to be replaced by Apple:

Do you remember the Battery Health status of your watch? If below 80%, the battery needs to be serviced.
