How to check if AirPods Pro 2 Lightning are Genuine

I bought these for fairly cheap, the seller buys bulk Amazon pallets and sells what he gets individually. These were in the packaging and sealed up, they looked legit.

However, I’m having some issues with them, they just feel different. I tried to pull off the tip but it wouldn’t budge then the whole AirPod started to separate so I stopped.

Biggest issue is, when I go to check coverage I get this message:

“We are unable to complete your request at this time.”

i have a pair of 1s and they feel different. Are they knockoffs? How can I tell for sure they aren’t legit?

I want to be sure so I can confront the seller. Thanks.
