After iOS 18 update , my IPhone 15 pro max is NOT THE SAME ; photos are shown inverse and there is display blurriness and purple clouds on edge of screen

Recently updated to IOS 18.1.1 & wish I hadn’t.

Here’s what began happening upon restart:

When loading images from browser, or viewing an image I screen shot or sent in a message , or if selected in ohone’s photo app …my images are appearing in inverse ( like film negatives ) . And they seem stuck that way . Happens while viewing images but not every time. If I follow a link to another area or on YouTube, or instagram, or copilot, the image loads like it’s a negative . 80% of all images do this to but only 50% of the time .

My phone hasn’t been dropped. No liquids. It hasn’t been damaged.

there are also pinkish purple halos after my finger touched areas of screen and they are slow to fade .

then , at time while using the phone it overheats . I have limited battery to charge up to 90% to lengthen its’ life .

There are times when the screen blinks as if it’s being electronically shocked , or as if in a seizure. It lasts a couple of seconds and it’s when navigating .

Recently I am finding that as a page loads in Reddit , in Notes , on a browser ( Mozilla ) -even this very page for discussions ! — it loads but then it somehow lands left. Only one side is visible. The right side of the page meant to display lands on my left side of screen . When it happens , the links or navigation tools on the site itself don’t operate . I’ve tried to drag it , pinch it close it , allow it to regroup . 😒 Nada.

The only things that worked to exit this were sweeping up from bottom to quit active app or restarting phone.

I am referring to specifically the lateral right side of screen being gone and the remaining left half is visible. The images that are always visible at top of phone remain visible I refer only to whatever loaded on screen as the active dynamic app in use . It’s always at the half mark ,when the page gets stuck this way , if that helps .

As if the loading page got swept left but didn’t go left fully got stuck halfway. Yet it wasn’t swept left by the user at all. It landed that way on its own. It happens on the landing page usually. It will not respond to any taps at these times within the front active app. So I have to quit the app , to clear it . Or restart phone.

At times now , out of nowhere images are unclear , with lower resolution. as if there’s a clarity or resolution issue. Yes , I made sure my screen was clean .

i admit I use five apps at times without closing them and flip to and fro but we do that as end users don’t we ? This isn’t too much to ask of a Iphone. I’m not abusive to this phone at all . I handle it with kid gloves .

it overheats now while charging and I baby the battery . It’s only one year old and has been on a 90% charge limit since I brought it home new . These problems are not all happening regularly or simultaneously but daily if that makes sense . They’re irregular in when and how they recur.

All of this began to happen after the last 18 update.
