whatsapp call cannot connect via WiFi, only via mobile data
Hi,
when placing or receiving WhatsApp calls, we found that we need to briefly toggle between WiFi and mobile data to establish the connection.
Then after about 12 minutes on WiFi, the audio is lost but the connection is still alive: a brief toggle between WiFi and mobile data and the audio is back. For again about 12 minutes.
Although this workaround does the job, it is still quite annoying… Has anyone an idea how to fix this to work with just WiFi ?
Note: The setting “call via WiFi” On or Off does not impact this behaviour
The issue has been reproduced on various iPhone models /iOS versions: 6-11-13-16,
iOS 16 and up
