Iphone 14 : Rear Camera and Flash Stopped Working After iOS Update
I’m facing an issue with my iPhone’s rear camera and flash after a recent iOS update. Here’s what’s happening:
- The rear camera has completely stopped functioning as expected.
- Only the wide-angle camera opens, but it doesn't work properly either. Whenever I click a photo, I get a distorted image with rainbow-like colors.
- The flash doesn’t work at all.
I contacted Apple Support, and they suggested it’s a hardware failure. However, my phone has no physical damage or signs of misuse. They advised me to visit a service center for repairs.
At the service center, I was informed that the rear camera module needs to be replaced, and the repair cost is ₹14,000. This seems unreasonable, especially since the problem started right after the iOS update.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Is there any chance this could be a software-related problem, or is there a way to get it resolved at a lower cost?
Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
