Apple Watch complication Pedometer++ turns off

Apple Watch 10 WatchOS 11.2. Since updating my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 18.2 the complication for steps from Pedometer++ keeps turning off.

Apple Watch Series 10, watchOS 11

I was able to resolve the problem by deleting the app on both my phone and watch then reinstalling. Since the app had full access to my Health app I was able to import all of my history.

I don't use a mail account set on ios to do the export as it's required. How do I preserve the data without that so I can try the reinstall?

Edited: no need. I just switched off and on again the "Show on watch" option from the watch app settings from the phone and it's working again ...

Yeap. It's happening to me too. I think it could be related to some changes on watch os latest version, 11.3. I don't know how to report that to the dev.
