How to add an ESIM without scanning the QR Code

I was able to add an esim in my iPhone 14 by manually adding the details (without a second device to scan the QR code)

Steps:

1. After obtaining your esim qr code from your telco provider, install QR Code reader by TapCode Ltd (disclaimer im not affiliated with them)
2. Save your QR code to your Photos, and tap the Photos icon to the left of the Flash icon:

Select the QR code from your Photos. It will decode it and output something like:

LPA:1$sci.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com$XXXXLONGCODEXXX$

Back to the esim setup, tap enter details manually

Then paste the text that you decoded previously like so:

NOTE

Do not include the $ sign. Only the texts between them
