Need Help Resolving Software Issues on My MacBook
Hi everyone,
I’ve been struggling with multiple software-related issues on my MacBook, and I’m hoping someone here might be able to offer advice or solutions. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the problems I’m facing:
- CleanMyMac Issues:
The CleanMyMac app isn’t working as it should. Every time I try to use the “Smart Clean” feature, the process freezes indefinitely, and I’m forced to quit the application via Force Quit. It’s incredibly frustrating since I rely on this app for optimizing my system.
2. Photoshop Installation Problems:
I haven’t been able to successfully install or use Adobe Photoshop on this MacBook for the past two years. Whenever I attempt to run the installation or open the app, it either freezes or crashes immediately. I’ve tried different installation methods and even updated my macOS, but nothing seems to work.
3. iPhone Connection Issues:
Whenever I connect my iPhone to the MacBook, the system doesn’t respond at all. It doesn’t display the phone’s contents, and the “Allow” prompt that typically appears on the iPhone never shows up. I’ve checked the cables and ensured everything is up to date, but the issue persists.
Additional Information:
• My MacBook model is M1 2020, running macOS Sequoia 15.1.1.
• I’ve already tried basic troubleshooting steps like restarting the MacBook, reinstalling the problematic apps, and checking for software updates, but none of these resolved the issues. I have this issues since I bought the Macbook back in 2021. But I'm now tired of them.
Has anyone else faced similar problems? Are there any specific steps or tools I can try to fix these issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
