iPhone stuck on Apple logo during setup

I tried setting it up, but it was stuck on an update screen with nothing to do, and so I clicked the power button to try resetting it, now it’s stuck on a black screen with the apple logo, and the bar won’t move at all, it’s been stuck like this for around 3 hours, pressing the volume up and down buttons and power button don’t work at all

Sounds like you have already tried troubleshooting including a force reset procedure. If that is the case, it’s likely that now you have to take your iPhone in to your nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for diagnostics, evaluation and options.
