Request for refund unsed subscription for icloud

Dear Apple Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to request a refund for charges that have been applied to my account over the last three months for iCloud services. Unfortunately, I lost my phone during this time, and as a result, I was unable to use iCloud services. Despite this, my account has continued to be billed monthly for the iCloud subscription.

I kindly ask for a refund for the charges made during this period in which I was unable to use the service.

Here are the details of my account:

Date of phone loss: November 2024

Period of incorrect charges: November 2024 to January 2025

Re: Request for refund unsed subscription for icloud

Apple is not here, as we are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community.

So your message will not reach Apple. We'd like to help however.

Seems your subscription would be active and syncing / storing your data, even if you were not using your iPhone ?

ie: You can cancel your subscription (ie: by downgrading to the free 5Gb) at any time, if you wish:

It would be wise to archive copies of anything (over the free 5 Gb limit) stored in iCloud, and turn off syncing first.

(ie: You can cancel iCloud+ in your iCloud storage settings.)

Apple's method for Apple-users applying for a refund:

You could reach out to the Billing and Subscriptions Support Team if you wish (online chat / phone/ email etc.)

Eg: They have a "Get Support - start now" link at the bottom of their website (link below)::
