Well, that's certainly not the case on my iPhone 15 Pro. It's fast; it's smooth. I haven't fully explored the available AI features yet but having them enabled on my phone has not slowed it down.

That's fine if you don't agree with me. My iPhone 16 Pro Max is simply amazing. I'm sorry you don't feel yours is. Your tongue in cheek "thank you" to Apple was pointless. Apple isn't here on this user to user only forum, so they won't see what you posted.

If you really don't like your phone that much, I'd sell it and buy something you think would better meet your expectations.

In my experience, many changes may need to proceed at a slower pace. Consider your suggestions concerning redesign of the UI and in particular the app icons etc. Adobe tried this a few years ago with their flagship Photoshop app. The user base screamed about the changes until literally Adobe reverted to the prior designs for almost all icons.

With an aging population that doesn’t adjust as well to change, I can see a split in iOS. One version that is stripped down, easier to use and navigate. The second being used for intermediate and advanced users that adjust better to change and more modern trends.
