I have Wacom cintiq 16 tablet which I want to use with iMac. I need this tablet to work on Photoshop, TvPaint and more animation programs. Is a Wacom cintiq 16 compatible with iMac which was released in 2014? If I use a transfomer (or something similar)will it work?

A Wacom cintiq 16 requires that your Mac have an HDMI port and a USB port. It also requires macOS Sierra (10.12) or later (which is quite old). The challenge may be getting the driver for any version of macOS prior to Monterey (macOS 12). You should contact Wacom.
If your iMac meets those criteria, it should work.
I am not sure what the transformer is for.
If you have drivers it should work, but Wacom sometimes only has drivers for Windows.
If the tablet is USB-A and you only have USB-C a simple adapter should work.
