my m1 2020 macbook pro screen suddenly got a bunch of coloured pixels scattered all over the screen:( it looks like stars in the sky, and they move when i apply pressure. I think theyre stuck pixels but i have no idea how to solve it, any tips that dont include going to an apple store?

That is usually a GPU related issue which means the Logic Board is bad & needs to be replaced. Which is what @John Galt suggested by getting the laptop serviced in the thread you linked.

Do you think its something i should get checked out ASAP? I don’t have money for replacement parts right now, and the dots aren’t thattt noticeable.. if i ignore them, will the issue get worse?
Do bear in mind that I'm no hardware professional, but I believe if a GPU is failing, it will only get worse. That's what I've heard in the technology community
