Pre-ordering MacBook Pro in Arizona with European charger

I’m just visiting for two weeks and I want to take advantage of it to buy a new MacBook Pro.

I want to pre order it a week before. But I have a problem with the charger 🔌 outlet.

can someone help me understand how I choose it while ordering on Apple website?

We may not specify a different plug adapter than the one included with the Mac. However, you can use any inexpensive plug adapter. The power adapter input requirement is universal; it's only the plug that's different in North America.

Are you aware that if that Mac needs service, only the US AppleCare plan will apply to it? That means if it needs repair you would need to return it to the US. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the AppleCare terms and conditions before purchasing your Mac.

Thank you for your help. my question was, if I’m ordering a MacBook form apple website while ordering from abroad , if it’s possible to choose a different charger with a European plug or not. From previous experience the adapter is very flimsy and unsafe so I would like to have an original charger but with a different plug then the US.
the main reason why I’m buying the MacBook while visiting because in my country every thing is expensive specially apple products..

No you can not order a Mac from the US site with a foreign plug. You need to use a plug adapter for the country of use. And, you can not order a Mac from a the US site using a foreign credit card, address, etc.

There are many European plug adapters available: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=european+plug+adapter

I understand your question. In any event the answer is no, we cannot specify a different power adapter than the one used in the country in which that Mac is sold. However, you can also pre-order an Apple World Travel Adapter Kit - Apple, which will include the European plug adapter. Or, you can use any inexpensive plug adapter commonly sold in many places in the US and elsewhere. It will accomplish the same thing for probably $25 less.

I do not understand your "flimsy and unsafe" comment though.

I understand. Apple should really charge more for Macs. Compared to everything else we have to pay for in the US, Apple products are far too inexpensive and they last far too long.

If you hate the flimsiness of the US 'two-prong AC plug connector' stacked with the European adapter at the same time, then buy a local 'three prong Grounded cord' when you get home, in your country, and it will have the local plug adapter and will not require the 'two-prong AC plug connector' to support the weight of the power adapter body.

On all but the very smallest power adapters, the 'two-prong AC plug connector' slides off, as shown in the diagram I posted above. But 'two-prong AC plug connector' of any kind are generally not for sale as new from Apple.
