Pausing Safari history on iPhone

I want to pause my safari history but I don’t know how

I am not sure what you mean by "pause". If you want your browsing history to be purged you can do that: Clear the history, cache, and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Using Private Browsing will also prevent history from being retained after you exit Private Browsing: How to use Locked Private Browsing in Safari - Apple Support
