my phone is always on DND yet. When people text me it doesn’t show this person’s notifications are silence so people will think that I’m not answering them, but really I don’t get their calls and text because my phone’s on DND. How do I get it to show that my notifications are silenced. I’ve tried everything my settings match up with some of my peers settings. Who are also on DND. What do I do?

Settings>Focus Status>On
Note the people who are not using iPhones may not see these messages.
You aren't answering the people who are contacting you when you have Focus enabled so of course they are going to think that. If people in your life are expecting you to answer them instantly 24/7, you might want to have a conversation with them about boundaries.
