Unwanted antivirus pop-up on iMac Retina 4K

I've obviously hit a page I shouldn't have. Now there is a constant pop up on my screen advertising antivirus programs. How can I remove it without erasing my hard drive? I have a IMac. Retina 4K, 21. -inch. 2019
