Liquid detected in lightning cable

I choose to use 10 ft cables and have gone thru many because of the liquid detected message. Is this just a gimmick for us to only buy Apple products? I’ve spent so much money on new cables. Android phones and cables dont do this. Makes me curious and frustrated.

Are you purchasing quality cables from a reputable manufacturer or buying cheap junk cables from a gas station or Temu? Cable are NOT all created equally. Quality cables perform as designed, last longer, and meet or exceed important standards.

Are you sure that your iPhone doesn't actually have moisture in the port? If you are absolutely certain that it's not your iPhone port, then replace your cable with a quality version from companies such as Apple, Belkin, Anker, StarTech. etc.
