iPad, IPhone on different carriers

If my IPhone is with one service carrier and my IPad with another will I still be able to link them to receive FaceTime, calls and iMessages on my IPad?

Can I use two eSIMs on my iPhone at the same time? Unable to find cellular function on ipad There is no cellular section in my IPad settings and when I try to make a phone call message says “your iPhone must be signed in with the same Apple ID for FaceTime and iCloud to make phone calls from this iPad”. But My iPhone and iPad do have the the same Apple ID. So don’t know what to do and need to have some data on my iPad.

Yes.

The carrier on the iPad is only used for Internet access through a data connection. It cannot be used for calls and messaging. That is done through the paired iPhone only.
