How does my 2TB storage upgrade impact my current plan?

Yesterday 2/10/25, I upgraded to the 2TB storage plan. My current plan is set to renew on 2/23/25. Will the current be canceled on that date and the new plan take place on that date. Or, does the current plan renew and when the new plan starts the old plan automatically cancels?
