Cannot move cursor after inserting image

After inserting an image or shape I cant move my cursor past that image to continue typing. I've tried a few things with image placement but cant seem to fix the problem. Any suggestions?

When you insert an image, its Text Wrap is set to Automatic. If you change that to Around, and then click in the body text of the document above your image, you will regain your text insertion beam before the image, without having to enter any returns. Usually, it is a good idea to have some text in your document before inserting an image.
