IOS 17 broke my ipad wifi
I updated my iPad IOS to 17 and now my Wi-Fi on my device does not work properly. I can get into the app store and download apps, but I can't export anything from Procreate to my email, I cannot get an internet connection on my email, no internet on my Safari browser, Dropbox can access my account, but I cannot download files from it. Essentially, the iOS 17 broke my iPad's Wi-Fi. Upon looking at the Apple forums, there's a lot of people stating the same thing about iOS 17 and their Wi-Fi not working on their iPads and iPhones since as early as 2023. You would think that Apple would try to fix something that is a widespread issue for people, and from 2 years ago, at that. The only thing I could think is the reason that they're not fixing it is to force people to buy new devices. The only options I have with my iPad are either factory resetting it, and losing the apps that are no longer in the app store, or buying a new iPad. The customer care person I talked to was very condescending and I couldn't talk to that person. I got no help and no advice at all. I'm probably just going to end up going for a drawing tablet that's a different brand, unless there is an eventual iOS fix. I won't purchase another Apple product if they're going to be doing the same thing that happened to the cell phones some years back, where they had to pay $500 million dollars as a class action settlement because they were found guilty of pushing bad software on devices to force you to upgrade your products. I think the same things happening here with these iPads.
