I am unable to take photos of cheques for deposit to my bank after latest iOS update

I have always been able to take photos of cheques for deposit to my bank but after this last iOS update I no longer can do this ! Please help

iphone 14 cant scan bank cheque Hi. I have a 'new to me' iphone 14 that has been updated to iOS 18.0, and the Virgin Money app isn't working the same. When I go to scan a cheque to deposit into my bank, the camera is the opposite way to how the cheque is place, ie cheque landscape, camera portrait. This means its totally strange to try and get the cheque into the camera square. The camera is not recognising the cheque to take the photo. The app does have access to the camera. Any ideas please?

Mobile Banking App check deposit picture issue I have a Bank of America mobile App. I tried to deposit a check via my iPhone and when attempting to take the picture of check the screen shot is orientation is portrait instead of landscape. Plus, it won’t automatically take the photo and eventually sends me a message that I need to take the photo manually. This has never happened in many years of use. The App is updated. I have the current software update iOS 16.2. I’ve rebooted. I called the bank customer service and was offered only apologies and no solutions. anybody experience this?

Why can’t I do a mobile deposit on my iPhone 11? Why can’t I take a pic of the check in mobile deposit? Just looks very blurry….In settings, access to the camera is on.
