Why does Apple TV app require Hulu login for purchased Oak Island episode?

I purchased season 12 of oak island. It airs each week on Tuesdays so the new episodes show up on Apple TV on Wednesdays. This week, for some reason, my Apple TV device won’t even show the new episode as an option (only 1-13) and if I use the Apple TV app on my phone, it wants me to log in to Hulu to watch the episode I purchased through Apple. I don’t have or need a Hulu account. I’ve reset the both my phone and Apple TV console. I’ve also logged out and back in. Any advice?
