Can't remove all browser

Ok this is a two fold problem.

  1. I'm unable to open Safari ever. It is always saying "Restrictions Enabled" "Certain apps, features, or services can't be seen or used when Restrictions are on. To use this app, turn Restrictions off.

I have already gone into screentime and turned them off, restarted the phone and nothing. Restrictions aren't on, but yet I still can't open the app.

  1. (wow even this site is bugged the **** up, I can't make this number 2 it always changed to 1.) Ok anyways, the second issue is I installed chrome to have an app and now I can't remove it. It keeps giving me the message "Download Browser App" "At least one browser app is required on Iphone."

I already have Safari, (which wont open), now I can't even remove chrome. This entire f*&king phone is bugged the **** up. I've looked all over the forums and can't find any fixes.

I just want to be able to open safari and delete chrome. This shouldn't be that hard, yet everything on the **** phone doesn't work.

Apologies for the colorful language, but this is driving me nuts. I'm ready to change back to Android.

  • Is your phone being managed by a school or employer?
  • Check if you have any Profiles listed at Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.

I would also suggest to Force Restart your phone to clear any cache files that may have been corrupted. The steps may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence correct and the last step of holding the side button until the Apple Logo appears could take up to 15 seconds. Ignore anything else you see on the screen during that time until you see the Apple Logo.

Turn off Screen Time completely at Settings > Screen Time, and scroll to the bottom to Turn Off Screen Time. Restart your phone again and compare your results.

P.S. The reason why you were unable to enter "2." is that there is a space between your 2 entries. That is simply the way the list function works on this website. The extra space thinks you are starting a new list.

Here is a list without the space:

  1. a
  2. b

And here is how it shows with the space:

  1. a

  1. b
