How do I permanently disable Safari on iPhone despite parental controls?

How do I permanently disable safari? I’ve turned it off in parent controls and turned off the ability to download apps and he is still able to search for it on his Home Screen and redownload it. Not the parent controls if you ask me or maybe I’m doing something wrong. Please help!

Just to confirm:

  • Disable the App Store - Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Installing Apps, and that should say Don't Allow.
  • Remove Safari - Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps > Safari, and that switch should be turned off.

I would also suggest to prevent Account Changes by going to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Account Changes, and make sure that is set to Don't Allow.

Change the Screen Time Passcode as it is possible that he has learned what it is.
