iPadOS 18.3.1 won't sync to MacOS Catalina

Same with my iPhone running iOS 18.3.1

My old iPad running iPadOS 17 works fine.

So it’s definitely a glitch in iOS / iPadOS 18.3.1

please don’t ask me to turn everything OFF/ON, change the USB cable, try a different USB port BECAUSE IVE ALREADY DONE ALL THAT SEVERAL TIMES!!!

But my iPhone 14 will only appear in the sidebar briefly, then disappear and reappear over and over again when connected by USB. Sync settings between iMac and iPhone I am troubleshooting why my 2015 build iMac running Monterey 12.7 will not sync with my iPhone 13 Pro. First, is it reasonable to expect that it should sync given the age of my desktop and can no longer update the OS? If so, specifically what settings (and any other steps) should be checked to ensure proper synching? Appreciate any help I can get. G

syncing ipad to imac I've been having problems syncing my iPad to my iMac lately. I received a message that I need to download a file to update my computer before I can connect to my iPad but I always receive the error message that says the file was unable to download. Anyone had this problem and found a work around or solution
