Why is my YouTube Premium Subscription only for 28 days instead of a month?

Why is my YouTube Premium Subscription only 28/29 days instead of a month? It ended and renewed on February 28th until March 28. Why am I paying for a month but only getting 28 days? They told me because it’s 30 days, okay, but then when I renewed in February , it should've been until March 2nd going by their (Apple’s) answer, but no, it ends on March 28th, which is only 28/29 days. It doesn't state under Subscriptions “YouTube 30 day subscription” but states monthly. I know it’s only a few days, but it’s the principle. Anyone else see this???

And what happens next month?

Chances are that it renews on April 28th, which is <gasp>, 31 days! You'd better hand that day back, pronto!

I don't think you can blame Apple for this. Blame Pope Gregory XIII, after all the calendar we use, with its mess of 28, 30, and 31-day long months is based his design.

Besides, most people would prefer the renewal happens on a consistent day of the month. If it were truly 'every 30 days' then next year it would be on February 24th. to make up for the 4 extra days in the year that don't divide into 30 month buckets.

So I think you'll find it's a universal problem, and pretty much all 'monthly' subscriptions are rounded based on the number of days in a given month.
