My iPhone 13 is frozen and unresponsive on the Home Screen

My iphone 13 screen is frozen and unresponsive on the home screen for 3 hours. My whole class has tried to power it off and restart by clicking the buttons as shown on google like the volume buttons and power off and holding them down, we have tried all the tricks and nothing works. I am wondering what to do and I go on vacation later and need my phone working, I am wondering if I should just let it die and maybe it will turn on or if there's other ways to get it to work. It is just frozen and nothing works, will it still die once the battery runs out?

Follow this VERY carefully:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button
  2. Then immediately press and release the volume down button
  3. Them immediately press and hold the side power button and KEEP HOLDING past the swipe to power off if offered and KEEP HOLDING it until the Apple Logo appears. DON'T LET GO until the Apple Logo appears and it could take up to 30 seconds of holding the side power button.
  4. Assuming the Apple Logo appears, you can then let go and your phone should restart.
