My Macbook Air M3 trackpad has been making a weird noise recently. the Taptic engine seems to be too forceful. I tried changing the click force in setting but that didnt change it. What should I do?

Try restoring the OS and check is the issue solved or not .
have you observed any cracks/lines/scratch on Trackpad, because of this also the Trackpad may damage get the sound.
visit an Apple Service provider for additional diagnostics and internal VMI.

Do you notice any bulging beneath the keyboard or trackpad or anywhere else? If so, that would mean there is corrosion taking place, and you should get this serviced immediately, as this has become a Health Hazard. So, reply back, with a photo of what you are seeking.
