How do I stop documents from defaulting to download in a specific app on iPhone?

"How do I stop documents from defaulting to download in a specific app on iPhone?: Hi - I recently acquired an App called Phomemo, which prints labels from a device I bought. Since downloading the app, every time I open a document from my files in iCloud in my iPhone, it defaults to downloading in the Phomemo app. How can I stop this? I’ve no requirement to make labels of my long work based docs!"

Setting the Default Printer:

You' Can't. Unfortunately, there is no way to set a printer as the default printer on the iOS. Being not an option, recommend this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what features to include in iOS versions to come. Apple will know nothing of your ideas if you don't provide them to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that you want this to be an option and why. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Ask the Developer:

So, I'd contact the Developer, asking them why this has occurred and how to get around it. You'll find their Contact Us info in the App's site of the App Store. On any app you are using with the option to print, you have to choose your printer form the list > adjust the settings > Tap: Print
