How do I display Wi-Fi signal strength in decibels on iPad?

I do I show signal strength in db ?

I’m not aware of any way to do that for Wi-Fi, nor can I think of any reason that would be useful information. Relative Wi-Fi signal strength can be see by the number of arcs in the wi-Fi icon.


BTW, decibels are dimensionless; they are measure the relative strength between 2 signals as a logarithmic value , they are not an absolute value. You may be thinking of DBm, where the standard being compared to is 1 milliwatt.
