I have an iPhone 13 with two eSIMs. I'm thinking about get a 16. How do these eSIMs get transferred to the new phone?
Does it happen during the migration of data from the old phone to the new phone?
Or, do I need to contact each of the cellular providers to transfer them?

I haven't needed to confirm anything with carrier for the last few years since I moved to eSim. The migration process asks you if you want to move the eSim to your new phone. Worst case is it doesn't transfer and all you'll need to do is call your carrier if it doesn't do it automatically. But it really should be seamless and simple.
Thanks. It does like the cellular providers have to support Quick Transfer so I will need to confirm that.
