MacBook Pro M2 not charging despite 'Plug' icon and 'Battery is not charging' message

My MacBook Pro with the M2 chip is showing a “Plug” icon, but it says “Battery is not charging” and doesn't show any power source like "Battery Adapter".

I’ve already tried the following steps, but the issue still exists:

  • Restarted the Mac

  • Shut it down and turned it back on

  • Reset the SMC (System Management Controller)

  • Changed the charging cable

  • Disabled the "Optimized Battery Charging" option

Despite all these actions, the battery still isn’t charging. Please help!
