Problem with Siri responding to device owner's voice
Mother's device:
She will say "Hey Siri," and get no response.
If I, her 55y/o Son says the same thing, the 'Siri Circle thing' appears on the screen, and
executes he request.
Can we Teach 'Siri' her voice?

Siri on the iPhone has no ability to recognize different voices. It should respond to anyone who says, "Hey Siri."

It sounds as if either she isn't speaking loudly enough or not clearly enough. You might also want to change the setting so that Siri will also repsond to just "Siri.."
Yes. Go to Settings > Siri > Talk and Type to Siri > Turn off Listen for "Siri" or "Hey Siri," then turn it back on.
You will be asked to read a set of verbal prompts aloud. This will train Siri to better recognize and respond to your voice.
But it isn't entirely foolproof and others that sound like you or have the same pitch can activate Siri. But this should do it.
