Hello all I have finally decided to ask is there a settings or way to get a pop up notification from iCloud like gmail does all day night . I have missed so many important emails it is time to figure out kindly advise Apple community!!

Correct, though I would turn on Banners as well as Alerts and Badges with sounds.
