Why can't I use messages on my MacBook Air 2020?

I keep trying to login to messages on my MacBook Air 2020 (Intel, its currently up to date as far as OS goes, however, once it logs in, it will immediately log back out and send me back to the login screen. I've tried restarting the computer, but still the same results.

Is there something I'm missing??

If you have [or not] an iPhone or iMessage issues, that

might also could use Wi-Fi settings, and you could also

use a wireless base station. When indoors at residence

most factors, a matter of iMessage (not MS Messenger)

are covered by a slew of Apple Support articles.

There are several settings too, using them may allow SMS

and other cellular or wi-fi messages to take place; study it.

Other issues inside the MacBook Air may invite use of

diagnostic look inside. A non-invasive user-friendly app

created by a fellow Apple Community, has made his app

available to ASC members, free; read & use EtreCheck.

Maybe this is a bit large; but since your post leaves many

details out when it comes to what's up, I'm about done!
