I understand there is not a password associated with a private relay email address. I want to connect an app on my iPad using relay with my iPhone. I have private relay turned on for both devices. Thank you.

When you create a Hide My Email address, this creates a randomly generated email address that is associated with your Apple Account. Any email that is directed to any of your Hide My Email addresses are forwarded by Apple to the primary email address associated with your Apple Account (formerly known as your AppleID).

Private Relay generates a "fake" email address when you sign up to websites or apps using Hide My Email.
This fake email address forwards any messages sent to it to your actual iCloud email address.
If you want o log in to an App, that you previously used Hide My email with the iPad should suggest it when logging in, assuming both your iPhone and iPad are logged into the same Apple account, and can access the same Password lists in the passwords app.
You can see what email address was created for the App in iCloud settings.

Your advice did not work. I read the create and manage ... link you provided. Both my iphone and ipad are logged into the same account yet when I access passwords none exist for hide my email. And, when I go to settings, sign into apple account on both devices, the apps using hide my email are not listed. Is it best to select "forgot password" to proceed?? Thanks
I read all 3 articles you provided. Yes, hide my email was used to create the 3 app accounts I am trying to sync from my ipad to my iphone. None have a corresponding entry in the passwords app. Not sure what to do next.
We are getting a bit tied up with language. Basically you need the same passwords as the iphone apps (belonging to the HME accounts) to use in the ipad apps
All apps that I can think of have a corresponding website. You need to try and sign into each of the three in Safari, and use the Forgot my password function to retrieve or reset your passwords so you can use them on the two devices.
