How can I unpair an Apple Watch from my account after selling it?

hi i sold an apple watch on to domeone and it didnt unpair right and the person who hought it off me needs my email adress and pasword for my account to dirt the estch out thanks


I sold an Apple Watch 2nd gen 44mm to someone and my account has not come off the watch and now the new person who bought the watch off me want to have my account details off me so they can unpair the watch then set it up with there details and don’t want to do that and the Apple Watch is not on my Apple account what do I do thanks

Here’s what the internet suggests...


1. Using iCloud (Find My) to Erase/Unpair Remotely

If the Apple Watch is lost or you don’t have it physically:

  • Go to iCloud.com or use the Find My app on another Apple device.
  • Select the Apple Watch.
  • Choose "Erase This Device" to wipe it.
  • After it's erased, you can also remove it from your account, which effectively unpairs it.
⚠️ Important: If you don't remove it from your account after erasing, it will still be Activation Locked, meaning no one else can use it.
