SIM card no longer works after updating iOS 18.5 on my iPhone 16

Did anyone figure out the fix? I tried:

1. Force Restart
2. Remove and insert SIM card again
3. Flight mode on and off for 10 seconds (did it multiple times)

Inserted SIM on another device and it was working fine, hence this is 100% due to the 18.5 update.

If someone has a fix, please reply.

Or Maybe

1. your provider has no suitable update for iOS18.5 or
2. The update toasted your cellular modem

I updated to iOS 18.6 (22G86). I have no physical SIM card, I use eSIM.

wont connect to mobile network. Tried airplane mode, switch off and on, come out of airplane mode and it worked.

2 hours later and same thing.

Now the airplane mode trick doesn’t work anymore.

Any ideas anyone?

tambien tengo el mismo problema, tengo 2 iphone 13 pro y un iphone 12 los 3 empezaron con el problema de leer la sim al actualizar a ios 18.5, alguien lo pudo solucionar?

Is it possible for this to happen with three phones at the same time? I have two iPhone 13 Pro and one iPhone 12. All three have the same problem after updating to iOS 18.5.

I have similar issue, upgraded automatically yesterday night and sim is not working since then..
