iPhone 14 Pro stops charging at 80% due to temperature, even after battery replacement and iOS update

That's correct and is a new feature, which when at least a 20w charger is used to charge your iPhone, it will rapidly charge to 80% then display a message charging is on hold until the phone temperature returns to normal. This is normal as we ALL get this and is NOT a cause for concern. Apple is ensuring the phone doesn't go above a certain temperature when fast charging or wireless charging to protect the longevity of the battery in your phone. Your iPhone is NOT overheating. Since this is normal and not cause for concern, it's not something to worry about.

It's very common now on the newer iOS versions and you're welcome.

Now, you won't necessarily see it every time you charge your phone. For example if charging starts with your battery at say 10%, it will generate much more heat from 10% to 80% than it would be if charging started at 60%.

You will have to get used to seeing the message......because it is normal on newer versions of iOS.
