Removing iCloud Activation Lock from second-hand iPhone 15 Pro

Dear Apple Support Team,

I am writing to request assistance with removing the iCloud Activation Lock from a second-hand iPhone that I legally purchased in Bangladesh.

Here are the device details:

- Model: iPhone 15 Pro 256GB Natural Titanium

- IMEI: 350*****17*****

- Serial Number: C***0****0

- Locked to: Japan Docomo (Unlocked)

The phone is activation locked under a previous Apple ID. I do not have the login credentials. However, I have a video statement and verbal confirmation from the seller that the device is not stolen and was originally brought from Japan through a reliable source. I am willing to provide any documents or identification needed to prove my ownership.

Attached to this email is my official request letter (PDF format) that includes all relevant information.

I kindly request your assistance in reviewing my case and helping me unlock the device.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Anisur R**** R****

Unless you have the proof of original purchase from Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider or you can get the original owner to remove the activation lock, there is nothing you can do. If you can, return the phone and get your money back.

By the way, this isn't Apple Support. This is a user-to-user technical support forum. However, contacting Apple would get you the same answer in this case.

There is nothing Apple can do. A video statement and verbal confirmation is irrelevant and does not prove anything. That person will have to remove the device from their account before you can use it. If the device was truly from that person, it should be no problem. Apple does not get involved in any third party sales, so you are on your own. You can certainly file a complaint with your local authorities if you were scammed by that user and they refuse to unlock the device for you.

I suggest you read the information provided here:
