Output audio from Apple TV 4K through your home theater

The home theater is connected to the TV via HDMI, and the Apple TV 4K is also connected to the TV via HDMI. If you go to the Apple TV 4K settings and select the audio output section, you will see that the audio is being output through the receiver's (home theater's) audio system. In the notes, it says that "the Apple TV will always output audio through the receiver's audio system," but the audio is still being output through the TV. Can you please advise on how to resolve this issue?
