Network Provider Settings Update notification

Hi, I received two spam texts today, I haven’t opened them, just slid and deleted and marked them as junk. However after 20mins, when I clicked on my settings on my iPhone I started getting a popup to update my network provider settings. I clicked not now but it keeps appearing when I click there. It only appears when I click settings-about. However my network provider claims there aren’t any updates from their end and I should just ignore it. I can’t though as it appears every time I open my settings.

After a few tries, I restarted my phone, the pop still appeared. Then I restarted it again, and it now seem to be gone. I don’t see anything downloaded, no weird apps, or logins from weird places. What should I do and should I worry?

If you open Settings/General/About it will automatically install updated network provider settings. These are frequently required to maintain cellular network connectivity. These settings allow the carrier to customize the iPhone’s network configuration for their specific requirements.
