Apple TV Music not showing all songs from iTunes library

I am trying to use AppleTV Music to play my iTunes library (OkOk it is now "Music"-- stoopid name) but when I use the Apple TV Music app it only plays my purchased music from Apple. I want it to be able to play thru all 10,000 songs I have stored in my library.

-YES I have home sharing turned on, both on my Mac and on my AppleTV.

WHY are ALL my songs not showing up? They used play to on my older AppleTV, but the "newest" Apple TV does not play ALL my songs. Did Apple remove this functionality?

(I have been adding songe from various places for thelast 30 years and most are NOT Apple purchased music, most are burned CD's and music from other sources)

Thanks from a frustrated, and LOOONG time Mac user watching our functionality get reduced in the name of ??? something...

Original Title: AppleTV Music ONLY showing my purchases, not my WHOLE Music library. (NOT the 9,000 other songs from CD's I have in my computer)

The Music app on Apple TV only plays from online sources: Apple Music subscription content, purchased tracks or albums, or radio stations.

Your local (not online) music media can be played through Home Sharing and the Computers app on the Apple TV box. This is separate from the Music app, unlike on other Apple devices. The Computers app has a tab for music media, among other media types. From there, you may navigate to songs, albums, artists, or playlists.

Additionally, subscribers to iTunes Match or Apple Music have the (optional) opportunity to upload their offline tracks to a personal iCloud Music Library, making these tracks available to you on any of your devices with the Music app, even away from your home network, or when the Mac with the library is off.

Keep a separate copy of these tracks safe though, as these uploaded tracks will be DRM’ed and won’t be “returned” to your disk when canceling that subscription.
