iPhone no longer appears in sidebar for syncing purposes

My iPhone 15 Pro (incl periferals) no longer appears in the sidebar for syncing purposes. I've tried different ports/cables. I've also tried different USB buses, and have connected directly to the MAC mini. I've tried adjusting the > at the top of the sidebar with no effect.

First things to do on your Mini...

Finder->Settings->Sidebar->look to see if “CDs, DVDs, and iOS devices” is checked.

If that option is checked then try restarting your Mini in “Safe Mode"

Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

If the trouble clears then restart in normal mode and test.

Also restart your iPhone 15 Pro.
