AirPods 4 case losing battery life

I’ve just purchased the AirPods 4 with ANC. I have noticed that even though both AirPods are charged to 100%, the case itself is losing battery life i.e the battery life seems to drop even though both AirPods are fully charged. Is this normal? If not, what can I do to fix this?

Many thanks!

So yeah, of course. Basically you’re right. Practically not exactly. Look, it’s like using a windows laptop. You have it charged up to 100%. You leave it somewhere for an hour. You return to it, and it has 85% battery remaining. Let’s say you leave it there but plugged into a power bank. You return, and it has 100% battery remaining (the laptop). Now, the power bank has only 90% (or smth) remaining, because it keeps the laptop full. That’s the concept I was trying to explain. You get it?

so, most importantly, AirPods will lose battery life even when not in use (not much). Same as every other electronic device. To counter that, the case charges them.
